Rain Gutter Regatta

The Rain Gutter Regatta gives Cub Scouts a chance to make a model sail boat and race it with others.  Pack 515 uses an inflatable gutter track and a box fan to even level the compitition between the vairous ages of the scouts.  This ensures the best built boat wins!

Regatta Rules

1. You can only use what comes in the boat kit to make you boat. The Pack will provide the kit.
2. DO NOT use water colors to paint you boat.  we will race the boats in water and we dont want to the paint to come off and dirty the water.
3. The way we run the race its all about boat design and sail placement, you are allowed to tweak your boat betweeen each race.
